These guides have been immensely useful, thank you for producing them. I don't think I could have figured out how to really stretch the systems in this game without it.

I ended up finding a path through this particular weapon that gave significantly higher stats:
- On first recipe, use a Dread Leather in the animal slot
- On third recipe, I used a Samasten with Effect Spread +1 in the ingot slot, allowing me to skip one ahead and preserving a synthesis charge for the end
- On fourth recipe, Goldoterion, then Ancient Philosopher's Stone with Spread +4 and Element +5, Fire/Ice/Wind, in the Magical slot below the Goldoterion to unlock the Recipe Morph slot
- This resulted in me arriving at the final recipe with one extra item available. Grand Orgen in the first slot, then I used Arc en Ciel w/Spread +3, Element Value+2 in the Jewel slot just up from it, this will unlock basically every node except the (Ingots) quality node down below, and the ATK and Effect 1 nodes to the top. Essence into those top two, and then unlock the remaining nodes with Grand Orgens, then dump Orgens into wherever to finish the craft.

No rebuilding necessary, Stats 207 HP, 575 ATK, 264 DEF, 362 SPD before taking the thing to Dennis. That's +13, +28, +29, +18 over the path shown here.

Thank you for your useful videos! I used your guides for the first Ryza, got Ryza 2 this week and struggled to get my head around the essences system. I've just finished the game and am now creating end game equipment using your videos. Tempted to go back and do NG+ (which I didn't do with Ryza 1) with my new equips!
