Always find medvedev’s volleys strange he hasn’t really been good at them but it seems to be improving. Well I hope so. He used to serve and volley sometimes back in 2019 on break points, but not as much now. I hope he can still have his normal game along with volleys. Let’s go Meddy

The incredible thing about this match is that it was a dead rubber. Djokovic had already advanced to the semis and Medvedev had already been eliminated. But they still produced this!

With how Novak has looked and him being the more complete player, I thought for sure that Djokovic was taking this match. Medvedev played phenomenally and forced Djokovic into making many more errors than youu normally would see. Djokovic played his game, but Medvedev was just too good this time. This was a well-deserved win by the Russian. Where was this Medvedev at the last 2 slams? As a Djokovic fan, you can’t be disappointed. The Serb has had a great year so far and if you were him, would you rather beat Med and win Dubai and lose in the AO or win the AO and lose to Med here. I think we all know the answer to that.
