sentence and a comparative degree sentence without changing its meaning. Let's get started!
Type 1: S1 + V + the + SD + S2
Type 2: S1 + V + one of the + SD + S2
Exercise:
1. Indore is the cleanest city in India.
2. The red rose is one of the most beautiful flowers in the garden.
3. An ant is one of the smallest animals in the world.
Answers:
1. Comparative: Indore is cleaner than any other city in India.
Positive: No other city in India is as clean as Indore.
2. Comparative: The red rose is more beautiful than most other flowers in the garden.
Positive: Very few flowers in the world are as beautiful as res rose.
1. Comparative: An ant is smaller than most other animals in the world.
Positive: Very few animals in the world are as small as an Ant.
