Men born before the 1990s or before 2000 never had the support n help around depression as most never knew what it was cause talking about feelings was thought of as unmanly, unlike now and days where its often talked about by actors, athletes, all sorts of male Celebs like The Rock here.

I never knew I had depression until like 15 years later once I was clean of all drugs, suddenly it hit me like now I dont have anything to distract my mind n drown it all out like noise.
Depression makes u not want to be around ppl or socialize much & you could have all these OCDs ontop with it as well as anger problems that just flip like a switch n also become sad very easily too

Drugs sure helped with coping those situations cuz your not alert n brain is pumping with endorphins. Most people think drugs & alcohol can mask all problems away as I did too but really all your doing is like .. taking Painkillers for Venomous Snake bites lol, it may numb the pain as long as ur high or drunk but your health is still being eaten away unless you actually understand the problem at hand & try to cure it & believe me it doesnt go away on its own, at best u may have hidden it away until it comes back over and over.

So seek help if you are suffering from depression and be sure to learn about it so that you will know if it ever happens to u or ppl around u so that u can intervene & try to help them and if u are just like me masking pain & sadness with drugs/alcohol you must understand all it will do is make life less enjoyable & cause u more days, months, and years of more sadness.
