People don't seem to realize that the track prep is very important. Very warm tires, perfect conditions, and a properly maintained track surface can do wonders for one pass. This is very believable but this would never be that quick on the street.

Note: MIR is the fastest track in the country. DA in the winter goes into the negative by the 1000’s. So this is totally believable.

2 key things here.  #1 Excellent DA  #2 Harder to tell on this video but there's another video of the same run on YouTube that's closer up from the right side of the car.  In that video you can see and HEAR how insanely prepped and sticky the track is.  He was launching on super glue.

this is the same track where Ranger ran those incredible times in both a C6 Z06 & C6 ZR1.

is that the dealer sticker in the back window ? very expensive burn out, those tires are not cheap .the burn out smoke coming off car is like from a time machine .I love the sound a sprayed sticky track .

It's an automatic people that's why it ran good, a manual wouldn't do that time. It's a stock a8 corvette zo6 better take off when hitting the gas hard.

I'm guessing by the title that this car competes in a stock appearing stock tire size class. I have no idea what the rules are because I have no idea who the sanctioning body is but it is possible to build a stock appearing, both body and under the hood, and run like a race car. I'd like to know more about the rules and where he races this car. I'd say this car is one bad ass sleeper and I'd like to see it compete against other cars built like this. It would be fun to pop in on some local tracks talking crap and taking money.

The 134mph trap is what’s not believable. I mean, I have this very car in A8. You loose a .5 second at launch on street surfaces, but the mph trap is always mid to late 120. You just don’t do 134 trap because you had a good launch a prepped surface.

I suspect we ran boosted octane here with possibly a mild tune. That would still mean “stock” technically because there is no permanent changes to the car. The launch was solid as the tires sounded like they were literally sticking to the prepped surface as the car rolled into the starting line.
