Don't Hate the Player Hate the Game

Don't hate the player, hate the game! It's a familiar excuse for some pretty bad behaviour. We act as if "the game" will exist regardless of whether anyone is playing it - but how could that possibly be true? There are so many games in this world that produce only a small number of winners and a large number of losers - why have we not yet changed how we play these silly games, so that we create better outcomes?

I absolutely hate the player too. Because the player makes a voluntary choice to play the rotten game. The player can choose NOT to play, as they should.

It means don't hate the doer, hate the system. If the system is porous, the player/doer will take advantage of it. That's the price of democracy and due process.

The quote would be true for more isolate systems, where there is a means to change the rules within those systems. If you go as broad as the "game of life" where even the act of changing the rules (aka laws) through means such as voting, lobbying, mass media and manipulation, then you can't actually control all of the rules, because what people will do is limited by their imagination and the laws of physics. Unless you are god, you can't change the laws of physics.

there's some a few games/sci-fi movies that is being drawn out of humanities unconscious there that are genuinely interesting and promote a better planet and they are released in specific time frames so please be patient about the new 🌎 its being paved for everyone so that in the new world its based on the true individual and not the arbitrary me I get to use one of my games to help me learn a foreign language since the area in in has a lot of Japanese travelers. But before I was like are they still releasing games that means the world isn't going to end yet or anytime soon
