Why is it inferred that the Papau mine being the largest in the world is a lode mine? Couldn’t it be a placer mine that still produces a few percent of total gold mined, if there are significantly more smaller lode mines.
Also, I don’t understand why the statement “the mine processed approximately 130kg of raw ore…” is incompatible with the passage statement “on average it produces 130kg of raw ore”. What scenario would the first statement be true?
