April Agrees to Move to Boston for Jackson - Grey's Anatomy

After a night of making his case, April (guest star Sarah Drew) agrees to move to Boston with Harriet so that Jackson (Jesse Williams) doesn't have to leave them behind to take over the Foundation. She also admits that she's separated from her husband. At home, Richard (James Pickens Jr.) tells Catherine (guest star Debbie Allen) that it's okay for her to be sad that Jackson's moving across the country, but she tells him what she feels is pride. As a Japril fan from the beginning I actually really liked how they ended their journey. They gave us some Harriet family content, and left of on a positive note with hinting that they will eventually find their way back to each other so I am happy with it

I can speak for myself how grateful I am for the mature way of giving closure to a character, it gives us the certainty that they are well, happy, in addition to that somehow, they managed to give us everything we asked for ...
A more mature Jackson, who won't let his mother tell him what to do.
An ending with April and Jackson together, really, we couldn't ask for less.

I like that they didn't kiss or something because it would've been unrealistic and childish, I like the mature part of them as parents and friends, this is actually a great writing, millions times better than Alex send off, even I love izzex

I'm really glad they admitted April and Matthew didn't work. I don't know a soul who would get over that 'getting left at the altar' thing, and then parent the baby that came from getting left. April's explanation of it was perfect.
