The Chinese government regularly give messages such as this to their citizens. They're aware that the Chinese are scrutinised more than most other nationalities. Just imagine how it would be reported if the Chinese behaved like the English have done at football tournaments, or if their teens descended on Europe and behaved like the British do, consuming unhealthy amounts of alcohol and drugs.

For once in a long time we applaud the Chinese gov, who is acting like a responsible albeit face saving parent on their petulant children.
