Right click on a chromebook is a two finger tap on the touchpad and like a PC you get a drop down menu.

I spent a good while trying to do what you said and showed in this video to no avail. I don't know if I/m doing something wrong but I'm doing what you're doing and it's not working for me...

I also tried this method right away.
(I also turned on Show Hidden Files for each external drive I used)
What's frustrating is that it stopped working after a point, though I got most the files copied and then deleted orig after I verified the copied files were intact.
I can't seem to find info in my searches for the particular issues I'm having.
Now I want to save all my apps, and user settings, and files created and stored in app folders, so I can wipe & start over.
Why is this so hard? My old ubuntu was so amazing, I didn't know how unfriendly a Chromebook could be made to be. I don't like it.

I just got used Chromebook other day I couldn't get it work built-in mouse seens it don't have left and right click button like computer mouse i end of using 3 away adapter with computer mouse I copy from usb to my 128 sd it worked
