The whole premise of Nightmare Mode is that you keep dreaming about Nighmare Mode because of the stress of being the doorman. That's why all the neighbors have drastically disturbing appearances, the enviornment is unsettling, and the names of everyone relates to mythological/religious beings of evil, death, etc.

Hey YuB, I'd recommend looking VERY CLOSELY at things (ex: name spelling, tattoos...) because they do have very subtle changes for the doppelgangers this time around! As you could tell by the "wrong ears." I would also suggest comparing their face from top to bottom with the folder picture.
Also, theres a special surprise if you beat nightmare mode! Good luck!

its hard to give tips, you just gotta look closely at all the important things they change (ears, nose, eyes, mouth, chin, tattoos, extra eyes and such)

My checklist:
- Check to see if the DDD logo is correct on both the ID and entry request form.
- Check if they're on today's list.
- Call the resident's number, if their roomie or their actual self says they're home, then boom, ya got yourself a doppelganger.
- Check appearance, do they look like the picture?
- Check if their name is correct on both their ID and their entry request form.
- Check the number (hella annoying, but necessary).


My personal opinion:
As a person who does daily things with a mental list/physical list, the list in the game is bonkers. There ain't enough stuff in there, at least not for me. I check everything before they go in :P.

The biggest tip I have is to not compare the neighbor with the id photo or the entry request photo. If the doppelganger is a different face one, they often update the pictures to match their face. Imstead, compare their face with the photo in the apt. Records or the list for today because those are always correct.
