The Netherlands tried the same thing just after WW2 but it was decieded that nobody can demaned reparation mony from Germany for what happened in WW2 and thus they only got some small terretory, most of which they sold to west Germany. So if Poland wants that many they should give back all the terretory they got from Germany after WW2

Eastern occupation wasnt te same as western. Warsaw was destoyed up to 90%. There were town that was almost completly razed to the ground like Jasło. Germans when they move back used strategy of burned ground to slow down march of USSR. Nobody gonna point how they forcibly takes everything by railway to Germany. Stealing from museums, places of historial values, robbing te biggest noble families heritage. From food to engagement rings from citizens, exploting them to last breath. 20% citizens died, many died after war from exaustion, from sickness (germans target inteligency - killing lawyers, doctors, academics, priests), from medical experiments. People know only about Auschwitz. They dont know about many diffrent camps. Grossrosen, Stuttof, Kulmof, Majdanek and more. After war many people escape because they lost everything. Their properties, family members.

About reparation this land was regained by Poland. It belonged to slavic-lechitic people. (In RFN Adenauer said that people who live on eastern side of Łaba/Elbe river are not true germans). We didnt get any reparation form USSR, they said that we have to pay them. They took what was not stolen by germans and took minerals througt years like coal. Nobody gonna point at begin of ww2 they killed people and send them to siberia in the time of late autumn or winter.
