Yes. I love the option to set a configuration property to default exclude from BOM! The work around i have been using for years was to add the component to an assembly and set it the exclude in that sub asm. Then set the asm to promote parts to bom.

I hope i can try this setting soon.

I'm still waiting for something I suggested almost 20 years ago. It is the fact that you can Have configuration groups. For instance, one group could be those configurations that will appear on drawings, another could be for generating step files for customers that only contain external parts. Another could be for renderings. This way when you make a part or assembly that has many configurations for different purposes, when you make a drawing, the only ones you can see are those marked for use in drawings, you don't see all the others.

I'd just like to apply a decal at the assembly level that doesn't show through onto the other side(s) of the part onto which it is placed. 2023 maybe?

How to show description of suppressed parts and components? How do I know which component to restore if the description is not visible in the tree, only the component name? In my case, the components have a numeric name and I can't remember all of them. 3:52
