How to fix socks that are tight and hurt ankle skin

Great solution for socks that are too tight and cut blood circulation marking your skin real bad. Besides that they work perfect after the fixing and are not to loose neither.

I went one step farther, no pun intended. I took scissors and cut the elastic band completely off. My ankle socks were not ruined, still stay up and no more marks around my ankles or cold feet from blood restriction. 🤗

I have tried all kinds of socks and compression and loose fit and diabetic socks too, all because of the ankle swelling My legs feel so heavy that I can barely walk after the ankle cuts me off. None of the specialty socks work. I have to wear non- slip work shoes and or sneaks at work. I work in intense heat in Spring, Summer and Autumn and come home in pain with numb legs and now toe blisters! THIS WORKS. Like others here I have cut elastic bands right off but that looks awful at work, and then they roll. This method can still get snug but keeps socks in tack and gives relief!!

I wish more socks were soft around the band. I have to cut the elastic off completely on some socks, and it’s irritating. Thank you for this little hack!

how to widen new flannel crew socks, brand new and cannot wear them, too tight in the calf and had to remove at the office because they hurt, the size of the foot is alright no problem. what do you recommend to do and fix and widene them
