Teased by Daniel Craig, the not-so-secret Omega Seamaster Diver 300M No-Date made quite a splash when revealed just weeks ago. Following the debut of the all-steel and steel-and-titanium models, a third one is now added to the collection. Sporting a bronze-gold bezel, crown and helium escape valve, this comes with a full titanium case and green bezel insert and dial.

From a technical perspective, nothing has changed but the new combination of materials and colours sure gives it a different spin! It follows suit with the familiar Seamaster Diver 300M architecture, yet does in with the date function. That means its still a formidable and reliable dive watch, rated to 300 meters of water-resistance, and powered by a Master Chronometer certified in-house automatic movement.

The number of versions of the SMP is wild now, and also how many they’re releasing whilst the model is so desperately in need of an update. Update the model, bring it up to scratch for the money they’re demanding and and then do other variations like this

Omega repeat after me: "Smaller & thinner, smaller & thinner, smaller & thinner..." Got it?

Titanium is for me the perfect material for a watch under the radar. Now Omega do a match between this material and gold. Gold is for me the remarkable material. This two materials are the opposite in my opinion. So for that money I choose the NTTD in a heartbeat en will enjoy the rest of the money.

I wonder if they're moving away from the 5-link bracelet.

wait a couple of years, and they'll remove the seconds and minute hands, call it a feature, and hike up the price to 15K 🤦‍♂ They can master chronometer their watch all they want, my old 2531.80 is probably more accurate, has a date, is much thinner and smaller. Omega should invest less in marketing, more in strengthening their design department which currently apparently only includes a half-time trainee.
