Several times I heard this music by national radio in late 1970 ies, early 1980 ies as I remember. Hasbaatar was lama, heroically took part in revolutionary activities in 1920 ies. He took part in battle Tolbo nuur which located in western part nowadays Bayan Ulgii aimag against russian white guard forces leaded by general lieutenant Bakich ( he was true patriot of his own country later I found) together with russian red army small contingent while encircled there for a long time. At the end he was heroically lost his life during the battle which won revolution forces. Good performance Maestro! The orchestra played it in its philharmonic house that demolished for a long time ago sadly. They still need better workplace now and hope mongolia will provide modern philharmonic house with excellent acoustics soon!
