I have watched and rewatched Better Call Saul a few times. But rewatching it now and specifically the scene when Chuck played the piano this piece suddenly resonated with me in so many ways. The wave of emotion I felt is hard to explain, a sense of happiness, motivation, hope and longing.

I like this melody very much, it somewhat reminds me of myself in my younger years, when the world still feels new and smells fresh, but a melancholy is present, existence feels timeless, nostalgic, and unique. The smell of wooden desks and the way sunshine lights up the curtains reflects of the thoughts I have for this piece.

This piano piece is actually very easy to master. 2h, and you pretty much nail it. Why? Because it flows naturally between the right and left hand, because it’s linear in its writing, and also because it is deeply emotional and gets you to play it almost instinctively from the heart. In a way, even though it’s a masterpiece of emotions, it’s a « logic from the heart » thing. That’s what so absolutely love in Fauré’s music: its simplicity mixed with emotions. In lots of ways, he was a musical impressionist. ❤

I had to learn this piece after I heard it on Better Call Saul. I love it.

I couldn't even begin to describe how this made me feel when I saw it in better call Saul but if I did it might be something like what all the other fans here are saying. Music has a way of moving people, especially classical. The scene made me feel something and I'll probably be adding this song to many playlists. I'm glad I found the best song from the 2nd best show (next to breaking bad ofc)

I can't help but write every time this song enters the player, no matter how, maybe on a silly napkin or even in my hand, it's the little ideas that make us move, even if what comes out in the ink is an absolute without sense, the delicate fingers of the piano endow and baptize me with decency, which I don't know if I have it or not, and when it pauses for an arrangement and like a whim, I forget about it, I just continue writing.

Very quite piece, a velvet.

Wow, what an incredible piece. Anybody who turns their nose up to classical music is truly missing out! I actually feel bad for them :( Unbelievable how impactful Classical music really is

This is the favorite classical melody for my youngest daughter of 6. It started more than a year ago: she was always humming this tune when it was playing in the car (one of my cd's). Then I forgot which music this was. Recently I listened at home, by coincidence to this same melody but on the net, and she recognized it immediately and wanted to hear it again.

I'm a Classical enthusiast, Faure has some of my favourite piece compositions in all of Classical. Its amazing too how His work manages to reach popular entertainment such as Cinema and Anime. I really advocate of listening to more of his work.
