Your tone is so negative in this video. “It’s dated” because: it’s 4 years old, it has antenna lines on the back, opens a millisecond slower than newer phones and it has think bezels. It has the same bezels as the 7 and 8. Gets a grip. Does any of this stuff make any difference in functionality? No! This video just shames people into thinking their 6s is outdated. Thanks for doing Apple’s planned obsolescence job for them. 👎

I originally had purchased an iPhone SE, been using it for 2 years. However, I then “upgraded” to the iPhone 6s, but got mine free from a family member. I proceeded to pay £25 for a battery replacement and comparing the speed to my mum’s iPhone 8, it genuinely holds out extremely well, not to mention the headphone jack. It’s a definite upgrade from the SE in terms of its more ‘modern’ looking design and the much bigger screen, as well as 2nd gen Touch ID. For the prices they’re selling for online, I wouldn’t sleep on it. Decent value for what you’re getting.

Edit: I noticed Nick mentioned users on 100% battery may only get through half of their day, I’m a heavy iPhone user and I get through a full day and on some occasions, the phone can even last until the next morning.

I personally have the 8+. My best friend has the 6s and it’s a wonderful phone. I bought him a battery pack case for his phone for extra battery power and he loves it even more. He’s good for two more years.

Just purchased a unlocked 64gb 6S space gray and waiting for it to be delivered from Best Buy. I using a 5S which I kept when I bought 32gb SE. Now that my SE is water damaged. I had to get the best deal available. I believe the 6S is a solid choice for now til I am able to get the X or XS probably in 2020 at a better price point. Not trying to break my bank for a smartphone. That's call being practical.

The 6S is the sensible option. Headphone jack, no notch. Very utilitarian.
