You know what would be a sad story? Like let's say there is a girl who wants to be a good trainer or whatever and she gets defeated time and time, she has a full 6 Pokémon team and Yamask is one of them. She stops believing in herself and goes into depression, she releases all her Pokémon and all go away with the exception of Yamask who stayed loyal to the trainer throughout the girl's depression. The loyalty of Yamask inspires the girl to once again try and she becomes so powerful she defeats the 8 Gyms and the elite 4, becoming a champion. To celebrate her victory she goes to the cemetery along with Yamask to visit the grave of her father that had died years ago, the girl cries as well as Yamask, who is revealed to be the girl's father all along.

Sadly Sun and Moon totally debunk the ghost Red theory, with him making a firm character appearance alongside Blue (he still doesn't talk, which Blue calls him out on saying that he's "silent as ever", which intones him not talking is completely natural as far as Blue cares).

To me the most scariest thing in pokemon is in sword and shield and when all your pokemon faint during the Champion Leauge, the reason why is because, let's say you lose to Raihan then it takes you back to the entrance of the Galar Stadium, and to me it's like the universe where you just lost was erased
