Not necessarily, Jeff. Many inventions are simple, simple solutions to simple problems.

Bragging rich people.
It's a very simple concept to get rich.
1- use cheap-made products, cheap labor, and transport. The cheaper the better, the best is a low slavery salary. 2- sell to customers with big margins, so the top 1% of the company can get rich and they have tons of money for marketing, commercials, and crap.
3- hide your narcissistic, sociopath, behavior behind commercials, media, and bragging of success, and don't care about how you use workers and buyers in your lies.

This is the only way to get rich. And for all of us others, we are just stupid buying their shit. And I can't understand how people worship those rich persons when they actually just suck money from people.
