I was front cookin for Vapiano for 2 years. The routine was kinda similar, but we had to do the dishes from scratch. We also grilled the beef, chicken, shrimps infront of the costumer and he could decide what to add. The good thing was, all the extras were prepared, like the vegetables were still raw but cut.

I feel like I'd be pretty proficient at that station, it looks nice and straightforward. At my current gig, I find myself running all over the shop, even if I'm only fixed to one station, which is pretty rare anymore. Miss this kind of simple flow.

This basically proves that schools have zero excuse not to serve foods like this. They've got the money for the giant cafeterias and big kitchens and still serve bottom of the barrel premade stale foods.
