I had one of these, when I was 11 y/o. Before that playing classical piano. Then: daft punk. Late in the 70ties. Now? Classic music again, but still love that spacy sound.

@stingrrr1 It is funny as you put it 'kinda cheesy', as this is referred to as a Cheesy Organ sound today.   Back in the day, Farfisa and other similar brands wanted to create an inexpensive organ that had a similar sound to the Hammond.   Since they were smaller and all transistor based, they never really hit the mark.   The Hammond used tone wheels and all tube amplification so it has a WAY more solid sound, albeit, much more expensive and much heavier.   Naturally since many early 60's bands couldn't afford to buy or wish to cart around a Hammond organ (which averaged about 400lbs), they bought into the Farfisa and others like it.  Overall it was cheaper to buy, cheaper (and easier) to carry, but it also had a cheaper sound.   The good news is that many of them ended up being recorded on such classic songs (for example  The Box Tops, The Letter,   Beach Boys, etc), that the sound became a characteristic of the 60's.  The Farfisa 233 was one of the nicer of these organs as it did have drawbars as shown above.
