Oh my god this thumbnail was so annoying because Little Mac's picture in Ultimate has his boxing glove covering a part of his head so cropping only the head was dumb as shit. Also school sucks.

Wow! I am shocked! I've seen the sudden growth this video has gotten, but now I look away for 10 minutes, and suddenly it's past 10k views, along with a substantial increases in subscribers.


I'm truly thankful for this support, and glad so many people are enjoying this video. I did not think Little Mac would reach out to a lot of people. My Bowser Jr. video was my first Smash Ultimate video, and that easily became my most popular video, but now my Little Mac video has nearly double of that, as of now. Just wanted to say thanks again to everyone enjoying my stuff, and I'll continue to do more Smash Ultimate videos :]

Much as I'd like to see him get a buff, Mac's playstyle is actually kind of appropriate for where he's from.
In Punch Out, you're considerably weaker than your opponent- some of them can one shot you, and all of them will shrug off your regular hits, while your star punches do damage similar to their regular hits.

In Smash, Mac being on the light side with poor aerials and recovery means a single poor choice can kill you even at lower percents. So you have to play to your strengths- Mac's speed, power and all that super armor makes his ground game possibly the best in Smash.

Its also thematically appropriate that he's SUCH an underdog in Punch Out, and he's frequently the bottom of the tier list in Smash, but every now and then a Mac player will surprise people.

It really says a lot about the game that even the worst characters are viable if you're willing to put in the effort.
