Kind of dramatic, I worked for the Master at Arms and saw several people get exposed by the XO on lying about certain things to join the navy, while the XO threatened to kick them out, of the 4 cases I witnessed the XO only sent 1 up to Captains mast (to which they were going to be kicked out anyways so why not add the extra charge). No one cares and no one will care unless its some serious shit.

What if I said I forgot because it's been years

Absolutely not! I spent 5 years as an Army Guard recruiter, (out of 24 years duty) and we lived or died by the number of recruits we brought in. Monthly quotas used to be four recruits a month which included babying them through the ASVAB (which we weren't allowed to do) because the local daycare systems laughingly called "Public Education" hadn't been doing it's job for the past 50 years and most of these kids were semi literate. Don't lie about physical history either. The physical exam is horribly thorough and it does no good to lie. Funny thing (and maybe this has changed) if you have had an "Orthroscopy" (knee surgery) that is an automatic DQ (Disqualifier). High school athletes are a special "watch" for the medics. because of injuries they might have had. Recruiters are at the top of enlisted job food chains. Unless they live on a base, they get free housing, food allowance, a duty car to drive recruits in and bonus pay on top of their enlisted paygrade. If a recruit lies to a recruiter and gets caught somewhere down the line, the authorities go back to the recruiter and fire him. At least that's what they did in Oregon. Just because you want to work for and possibly get lifetime training you had better do it honestly.

What about lying about being on medication along time ago. Like 7 years ago for depression

Well I didn’t lie but I told my recruiter about a ER visit but it wasn’t serious. On the paperwork that asks about it I put no but he had known about it( I’d forgotten about this visit until I double checked at a hospital).... I don’t want to get in trouble plus I’m in dep program now

If you're eye vision sucks absolute ass, can you still get in with glasses? I think I'm considered legally blind without my glasses and I was just wondering if that would keep me from being able to join

Great video! Question:

Should unspecidied dermatitis be mentioned? I understand atopic dermatitis and eczema are specifically listed in the prescreen form. However unspecified isn't (although I believe there is a question that asks if you've had any other skin issues). Thoughts?

I “had asthma” a few years ago but got retested when I was 14 and they said I don’t have it and probably never had it so am I good? I know the deadline is 13 for at least some branches but if they said I don’t have it and probably never did an I good? Also I went to the emergency room a couple of years ago for adenovirus however I have 100 percent recovered and I’m not joining in a few years anyways so will I be ok? If not can I at least get a wavier or waiver(s)?
Any response is much appreciated,
