First War of the Diadochi - Wars of Alexander's Successors | 323 - 318 BC |

Macedonia had never been more than a Greek backwater but with the Conquests of Alexander the Great in the late 4th century BC it turned into one of the largest empires in history. But On June 10, 323 BC Alexander the Great died, The empire was left with no clear successor and Perdiccas was named regent. After the Lamien war in Greece, several of the Satraps would revolt starting the first war of the Diadochi.
