If you are wondering why so many reviews rant on p**n, it's because their was a time when Blizzard took legal action on r34 fan artist of Overwatch and got it taken down. Not a single artist but whole r34 artist community of Overwatch

Blizzard had managed to do the impossible and piss off every Chinese fan by effectively deleting all of their accounts.

For those who aren't in the loop, Blizzard used to partner with NetEase to port their game and localize it for the Chinese because of government regulations. The Chinese player account and server are separated from Global, this isn't a issue until Blizzard silently decide no longer want to partner with Netease anymore. They let the deal expired and all China Blizzard game server from WOW to OW shutdown and chinese player can't use their Netease account to port their progress to Global, effectively wiping all player progress until Blizzard open the server again.

So yeah, this whole OW2 review bombing and boycott isn't just a Western thing. Blizzard pissed off every chinese player there is and over half of the bad reviews are in Simplified Chinese.

I'm a tf2 fan but looking at the current state of Overwatch... I'm starting to feel kinda bad.
*sure we may be enemies since the beginning of time, but STILL we gotta look out for our gaming brothers.*
