Yeah I have a old 59 Les Paul I had to re-fret and just to lvl, crown and polish it took me almost 5 hrs! But it was worth it in the end!!

So what was the tool you used at first to make the frets not stick out? Thanks

You inspired me to give it a try. I ordered some tools and the Solo SGK-10 kit. While planning on using your videos as a guide do you have any advice on where to learn the basic skills of setting up the neck properly and doing the fret work? I have zero experience. Don't even know how to properly adjust the truss rod. A good book, video, (or video series), or website? Thank you.
