Unpaid leave is not something that is encouraged by employers, but is a common leave practice in most of the organization where it is usually given when an employee has fully utilized their annual leave and needed to go on unpaid leave with valid reasons.

There are 3 methods used by employers in calculating the unpaid leave and all 3 are correct methods. Out of the 3 methods, there is one that is highly recommended by JTK. Watch the video yourself.

Sorry for asking.. What if the company use formula 3 but in that month has the public holiday and the employee apply 2 unpaid leave
