these are the bomb.... make rice, either kind and just add everything to it while cooking the rice, , , frz mix veg, the meat, anything and everything right on top of the rice.... unshelled eggs or crack right on top, push the color of the rice and wait. Do this every morning and never need lift a pot or pan, just throw it all in a tortilla and done... no need brown the meat or steam the fish or what have you... it all cooks at the same time, heat is heat, nothing to add later or before .... solve the food step of survival daily to get to enjoying the world. Or just make rice and add can tuna\meat and or sauce, stir it in after while rice is hot. leave on keep warm and have food ready all day so you can eat when the munchies hit.
I cook for older people daily, each have one of these and i just add what they want in the morn and set to cook, stays warm all day and they unplug at night and i clean and prep for the next day.
You have no dishes or dishwasher needed, no utensils or wasted no oven, stove or burner plate.... food storage is minimal and fresh daily... only one pot to clean and one goes in a skip the plate and monkey tools. Can you adjust slow cooker temp as you would on a reg slow cooker. Smallest slow cooker i have has high low keep warm turkey wing wont fit sideways in it so small. I do cook soup beans why im asking about functions

If I'm trying to do red beans do I use the steamer or the slow cook button... It seems that there needs to be a clock or a timer so that You will know how much longer you have in the process, and when it is complete. sometimes you may not hear the beep.

I always cooked quinoa, millet and brown rice together; the brochure says mix water with quinoa 1:1/2, I think rice is 1:1 ?!

I got this because it said grains rather then rice cooker……. is it possible to cook different grains together ?? Thanks ; )
