But as we grow, gaining maturity, we are facing a lot of suffering, sleepless nights, painful night walks, toxic thoughts, whether for lost loves, or betrayals for whatever it is... Life both gives us everything and takes everything away! Growing up and maturing is a very painful process, that's why we have to know how to be with ourselves, make our company the best of all, because in the end who goes to bed with your thoughts is just you!

I used to cry to this when I moved countries. All the memories, people, and places of my childhood were gone. I was grieving the loss. It took a year to start emotionally accepting the changes. I'm proud to say now, I no longer feel the need to cry to this. I eventually realised that all of my day to day reality of childhood may not have been meant to continue into my adult years, but that it was the blue print that I would use to navigate my adult life. My childhood will always remain with my in my heart. I will always carry it.

This song reminds me of the beginning of my adolescence, I didn't have friends and I had just moved, there was a video store in this neighborhood and my cousin lived near it, who I didn't have much contact with. One day I came home from school and found Pedro, my mother said that he had waited all morning, he would go to the rental store and called me, I was so happy, it was my first time in a rental store and for him to wait for me, even without we talk a lot. And after the first time playing together it felt like we were brothers, and that's how I looked at him, like an older brother I never had. From that day on, the video store was our second home, and I told him that one day I would buy a video game for us to play at home and that we would open it together. It's been a few months since I managed to buy one, but my cousin was absent to celebrate, unfortunately an illness took him. Pedro, I am grateful for all the moments together, for the lessons, you are missed

Sometimes you just need to be alone and play this kind of music to better hear your thoughts. You just need to solve a lot of things but you have already the key. It’s not a question of intelligence it’s a question of self love. You need to accept things that you cannot change to love yourself fully. Acceptation is the key to everything when you realise that even the others don’t have impact on your behavior.

This song reminds me of when I got lost on a hike when I was younger. I thought I was brave and ran ahead of my parents until somehow I departed the actual path and started going downhill. I soon realized I was lost. I tried to get back on the path and about an hour passed. I never gave up hope, I spend all my time trying to relocate the path. Finally my efforts succeeded. I didn't know where I was on the trail, but my instincts told me to run forward from where I was and that I would find my parents there. I sprinted that way and I was right. I saw my parents continuing walking and I ran up to them. I told them what happened and they were shocked. To this day, I still wonder what would have happened if I hadn't found my way back to the path, and if I ran the other way of the path.

To all the brothers out there who are suffering from betrayal, know brothers that if you did the right thing, but you didn't get the same treatment, worry not for there is someone waiting for you at some point of your lives, someone who will reward all your good actions and efforts towards other people
Or if you're suffering from the loss of someone close, know that you should not be hurt because they're gone but should be grateful because they were here and you lived to see them through their hardest times and finest hours, and be happy to have shared such great moments together that will forever live in your memory and that helped you grow as a person, and think of how much value you had in their lives
And once you realize these things, which I know is hard to, you will think how hard and painful life was up until that moment and even after, but you'll realize that this is the beauty of life and tthis is what makes it of value, and the memories are only what remain of such people
