I prefer the sax but the trumpet has a whole different vibe that I really like

Both are terrifyingly amazing. I was 5 or 6 while playing and the loneliness of the game terrified me but now the thought soothes me.

Music should reflect character in film/TV/games, and the saxophone embodies the idea of a highly trained (smooth) operator in my opinion. A muted trumpet might reflect the story better, or at least remind the player of ye-old and beloved film noir, but it might create a dissonance in player's mind they can't quite figure out:

- Books are about what a character **thinks**
- Plays are about what a character **says**
- Film/TV are about what a character **does**
- Games are about what a PLAYER **does** (i.e., you are the character - especially since the game is in first person perspective... until you die.)

I think Marty made the right call.
