Ann Curry breaks her silence about 'Today' scandal

The former "Today" co-anchor told People magazine her departure from the morning show "hurt like hell" and said she feels "outraged" about allegations of sexual misconduct facing Matt Lauer.

I never watched another day of the Today Show after NBC treated her so terribly. She worked hard at the show and she deserved her co-host spot.

I met her several years ago, I was standing outside the today show. Unlike her former co anchors who walked passed us and ignored us, Ann Curry came over to where we standing, said hello and talked to us for a bit. And she gave me a part of her script.

When I heard of the bullying and verbal abuse she suffered from co-workers, I stopped watching NBC altogether since they seemed to be okay with it. No repercussions for any employees for what they put her through. It got so bad she had to quit. I still don't watch NBC to this day because of it.

The fact Ann was chosen instead of Matt as the sacrificial lamb says volumes about NBC management. They were one big pig sty with Matt in the middle.

When Matt Lauer was recently exposed and fired I immediately thought to myself: and he did Ann Curry wrong too! When does she get an apology? He’s a misogynist on top of his creepy smugness. How couldn’t everyone see right through him the way he was? I did.

When Matt got out of line, Ann should of slap him telling him he had some nerve talking to her that way. If Matt reported her, she should of went to the tabloids & told them everything & cash in.
