You've still got some good stuff going on there, Ivan! My strawberries have really surprised me as well, they are still hanging on 😅 Jude 🌻

Great video Ivan it’s mad that you are still getting strawberries. Would love to see the raised boxes when you filled them I bet they are going to look lovely.

Ivan it was -1C last night. Tonight it is to be -3C in Fife. Minus figures for the rest of the week. Got my dahlias under cover yesterday and we are trying to overwinter some begonias, New Guinea impatiens and pepper plants.

Yes Ivan, I've still got strawberries coming and full of flowers too. I suspect next week's weather will put paid to that. It's been a funny old year.

Hi Ivan, ya can't go wrong with pansies for winter & spring, I've planted some in that welcome planter from home bargains with some ivy from summer, looks pretty, & put some in another planter, makes it look a bit better on the front of the house. Yes definitely changing now, covered my veg up the other day it's so cold at night here. not much a few cabbage, some beetroot, sprouts are looking good now, won't be long till I harvest those. Looking forward to next year get started all over again lol ..

Hi thank you for your video s kept me going while I was in hospital, we are having a very cold spell at the moment everything in the garden is dead (lack of water the wife didn't have time) same thing happened in summertime.cant do much about it as Iam now on oxygen 24hrs and me long tube doesn't reach in the garden the wife is planning to have flowers everywhere (I think the ones that don't need much water) any advice I can only think of alpine plants.maybe by then I will be more mobile and can be in the garden myself with portable oxygen at the moment just planning and trying to get the wife interested in the garden all I get is stop pestering the garden will get done when I have time., At the moment all I can do is look out the window (can't get through to her gardening won't wait ) can't wait to see next year what will happen never know might get her sowing some seeds in the greenhouse flowers of course.Bye for now

Same here with the strawberries- and the lavender is trying to flower again after it’s been cut as well as clematis in 2nd bud - what’s going on?

Hi Ivan, I haven't managed to get a single red pepper, ever. I try every year but they never turn red don't know why. Do you use a particular variety, I think I usually use California Wonder.
Do I need to put fleece over beetroot or are they quite hardy.
Thanks. 😊

Ivan, I think you've done amazing well this year 👏 I am fairly new to growing, and this is the first time I've grown cabbages.
If you've got time to answer me a question, I'd be really grateful. Do spring cabbages need a liquid fertiliser applying? I've read conflicting advice online 😮 so need someone with experience to put me right.
Many thanks in anticipation.

Hello I am a new subscriber to your channel. I love how in your previous videos, you show us how carefully and neatly you planted your Carrots and parsnips. I will definitely try your way. So far no luck with iether one. Another thing I am struggling with is lettuce. I get seedlings and then nothing🤔😱. Don’t know what I am doing wrong? Thankyou for your down to earth video 🙏🏻
