How To Plant A Vegetable Garden

Your tips about taking off the buds and even snipping the tops of your peppers makes a lot of sense. A plant is basically a bio-reactor; the roots pull it’s resources from the soil to convert them into produce and leaves. Forcing it to grow more roots early means it can pull in resources at a higher rate later when you want it’s production to be as robust as possible! It’s like a biological down payment

Once I started watching your video, I couldn't stop. The condition of the soil in the garden is always beautiful. In Japan, in the summer, in addition to what you are growing, we plant sweet potatoes, bitter melons, pumpkins, watermelons, and eggplants. All of them will surely grow big in your soil. Edamame, peanuts, and asparagus are also recommended. For herbs, how about shiso, myoga, perilla sesame? If I had a beautiful garden like yours, I would want to plant them all!

Just found your videos, so informative, I take my tomatoes plants and lay them on their side in the pots for a day or two, before I plant them, the plant will turn & start growing vertically. You then plant your tomato and the horizontal root system gets more water, which results in better growth.
