As kids, jumping was second nature—pure freedom and fun. But somewhere along the way, we stopped, and now many of us feel anchored to the ground, unable to leap like we once could.

For most adults, attempting to jump again often leads to injuries, frustration, and eventually giving up. But it doesn’t have to be this way!

In this video, I’ll share a simple, 3-step plan to safely and effectively regain your jumping ability. Whether you want to feel lighter on your feet, improve your athleticism, or just reconnect with movement, this plan will help you get off the ground—literally. Let’s get jumping again.

"the rope hitting you isn't failure, its feedback" this is a great quote my friend!

For people who have been rope jumping for years, try turning the rope in the opposite direction of your natural direction. For weeks, you will be surprised how difficult it is, but It feels amazing as your brain tells your body to develop new neurons.

I’m 63 years old and decided I better get back to a healthy lifestyle, so I put a gym in my garage and started weight training and a daily ride on my spin bike for cardio, then I decided I wanted to jump rope also, that’s when I realized I was really out of shape, I couldn’t jump, it hurt and made me feel disgusting! I’ve watched countless videos on jumping rope for beginners, but your video is the best, you really hit all the important points of getting back into it, awesome video! Such great information that nobody else has mentioned, thanks so much, I deeply appreciate how you put this video together!

You really are my spirit animal. A big jacked dude who trains intuitively and for maximum longevity. It's really inspiring that you don't follow the man crowd and do what's best for you, I aim to be training like you in the next year

The last time I jumped was about 9 weeks ago. I was playing basketball, I was careless that day. I didn't warm up, and I had been particularly sedentary that week. I ended up with a ruptured achilles tendon (from pushing myself forward to run, not from jumping). I'm 27 years old, and I've already had a good history of injuries, when I recover from this I want to be able to play basketball without having to worry about getting injured, I need to build a more flexible, strong and coordinated body. I hope to never get injured again

The last few months I’ve really leaned into jumping, dancing and various forms of footwork as a daily practice. 100% body has never been more grateful, I find myself moving in ways I couldn’t 10 years ago.
I’ve always viewed the gym as my playground, and I encourage everyone to take time to play and have fun. The peace and joy it brings is comfort food for the soul.
Love the vid ❤

I broke my leg playing football years ago. Rehab took a long time and I genuinely haven't been able to play since. Only started running and jogging recently, so I will try to incorporate this to help with rehab. I am nervous, but I love the advice you given. Little by little. And good luck to you all on your fitness goals. You got this.
