Are you joining the Black Parade in 2025? Which show are you going to?

To me, it’s MCR presenting the retorical question: “Why fear and mourn death? When we can use it to celebrate and remember a life? Go gracefully and triumphantly into the afterlife. Celebrate defiantly, and join the Black Parade.

The way I intripret is: the son of the father, whom took him to a parade, fears death because he feels unworthy to find peace in the afterlife. Because his dad wanted him to be better than him, and not become bad like he was. So he asks him a request: “Will you be the savior of the broken, poor, beaten, and help face their demons, and you face yours”? When the tv explodes and the curtains fall, we’ve seen the Black Parade, Death’s parade, has taken him. But it’s not the judgement he expected. Instead of being lost in limbo, or going to hell, the Parade plays a tribute to him. Triumphant and defiant, this song conveys the son’s wish to do more good. The Parade sings of him gracefully facing death, his demons, and meeting them. To take him through the streets to the afterlife. To find peace. They recognize he is unwavering and brave, so they celebrate his life triumphantly.

I hope they bring it across the pond to Europe. I'd definitely love to go see them in Dublin or Belfast (not that that'll ever happen).

We need to stop referring to ten events as a tour. It’s more like a special engagement. David Gilmour is on tour. In Hollywood and NYC. Not a tour.
