VEGAN IN MEXICO CITY 🇲🇽 ULTIMATE TACO TOUR AND MORE!!!

Before COVID-19 hit hard, we were actually fortunate enough to visit the beautiful city that is CDMX aka Mexico City aka Mexico DF. Despite having to come home early and missing out on more time we had initially had planned there, we did a pretty good job of eating our way through the city's vegan offerings. This is one vegan friendly city if I ever saw one. I absolutely LOVE this country and can't wait to go back to learn and eat more. Visiting the anthropology museum was one of the most interesting things I've done in my life. I cannot believe I had no idea (in the slightest) about Aztecs, Maya, Mesoamerica in general, the importance of corn, how the Sun and the Moon pyramid have nothing to do with the Sun and Moon and more. Having grown up in Australia I really had little knowledge of Mexico's history, their culture and food so it was such a humbling experience to visit a country with so much history. Watching you eat all the mouthwatering food just made me feel so full. It’s amazing how many vegan taquerias there are in Mexico. I hope to visit Mexico some day when I can afford the expensive flight from Malaysia (*cries in Manglish for now*). It’s also nice to know which restaurant is good for the desperate case of Asian homesickness and which is not, although I can’t imagine getting homesick at the moment (it’s currently the other way around haha).

I just saw your vegan places in Seoul video and I was so happy because I’ve been longing so much a trip to Korea but I wasn’t so sure how was it gonna be for vegan there. This brings back memories of my 2 week trip to Mexico City. It's my favourite city in Mexico & the most vegan friendly in the country, I love this city. My trip was several years ago & exclusive vegan restaurants were rarer then but most restaurants had at least one vegan option. or could modify a dish for me. Eating there as a vegan was delicious & effortless at least in all of the touristy parts of the city we visited & also the airport.
