In lateral lumbar spinal stenosis, the narrowing of the intervertebral foramen causes neurogenic claudication or facet joint pain. the Kemp test or Kemp's Test provokes this narrowing.

Thank you for these very wonderful videos
I read that in the npte ier2013 book
(a) Intervertebral foramen: cue patient into side-bending left, rotation left, and extension to maximally close intervertebral foramen on the left. Repeat on other side.
(b) Facet dysfunction: cue patient into side-bending left, rotation right, and extension to maximally compress facet joint on left. Repeat on other side.

If I'm not mistaken, it's also known as combined movement.

Hi doctor. I got a bone scan and it stated that I have no facet degenerative changes however have been dealing with a squat injury in my facet joints for many many months now. I’m 18 years old and sitting for too long in class at university worsens my condition every time I get better with movement. Could I still have facet joint syndrome? It occurred when slamming my joints together in barbell squat and pain is worse in the morning.

I just found my new favorite channel. Clear and concise. Show the demonstration slower or repeat it perhaps as it was shown only briefly. Consider also showing a second view on repeat as side or front view or from above. It would also be helpful to see a close up demonstration or illustration on a skeleton. Subscribed and will view more! Much love. 💕🐝 #Bee Kind
