This might be the dumbest weapon we've ever tested. Morgoth's Crown from The (not) Lord of the Rings, The Rings of Power. Why would you use a crown to defend against a sword?

One suggestion: every now and then, you could cameo that crown on Boromir’s head in other videos just to mock it all the more. It deserves it.

The Iron Crown? *MORGOTH'S* fucking *CROWN?!*

*. . . .*
Okay, some context: after Morgoth was overthrown in the War of Wrath, the Valar repurposed his crown into a ̶s̶e̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ collar that was placed around his neck before tossing him out the Doors of Night. Now, I'm not fully clear on what exactly the Doors of Night are or how they work, but I do know that they are some sort of portal into the Timeless Void. As in, he is _outside_ of Eä, (the universe).

So this show would have us believe that somebody recovered the Iron Crown (which is no longer crown-shaped) from *OUTSIDE* the *KNOWN UNIVERSE* and also wrestled it off of Morgoth himself and also was able to get back into the physical universe and also Morgoth couldn't get back in and also crowns are weapons.

Cool, cool. That's cool.

To be fair, RoP Galadriel not being smart enough to realize how easily she could break the crown's "bind" does make perfect sense.

"Bumbest": A portmanteau of 'bum' and 'dumbest'.
An accurate descriptor for Rings of Power.

Uneasy is the warrior that wields a crown.

Morgoth: wants a fancy pointy thing to kill people with.
Proceeds to make spiky magic crown.

In the corner lies a mace named Grond, quietly weeping.

Jazza makes the crown and talks about how cool it is
Shad /tyranth makes a crown and talks about how dumb it is

Might be dangerous if you stepped on it in the dark and it was covered in poop. 💩

Wait, they really use a crown as a weapon in that show?

Should’ve just used Oddjob’s hat. Hey, that’s probably something Tyranth can try on Screen Tested.

'His iron crown the Valar beat into a collar for his neck, and his head was bowed upon his knees.'

You see, I only disagree on one point:
I don't believe it was ever stated in the show, that the crown was MADE to be a weapon. I think it was ment to be just a crown (Morgoth just fancied spikes) and it's evil magic morgul-ish property was simply a side-effect of it literally sitting on a head of an evil god for an entire age.

Other tahn that, yep, it's garrbage.

"I need to make a weapon that can kill angelic beings. A sword? No. A dagger? No. A spear? No. An axe? No. Oh I got it! A pointy crown!"

Sauron having a pointed iron crown like this and backhanding it into someone is the kind of crap I would make a comical drawing out of, and they actually used the thing.
Thank you Shadiversity, now I know SEVEN things about Rings of Power.

Agreed. Definitely the bumbest weapon you've ever reviewed.

A crown?
You’re kidding. I could see like a crown that can transform into a dagger… because yeah then it’s a dagger. It’s not even like a chakrim!

When it comes to stabbing Galadriel with it the only somewhat plausible explanation is the fact that being a divine entity, albeit a fallen one, Sauron has levels of superhuman strength with which he can easily overpower her, aside from that it is still dumb.

1:47 Morgoth was NOT A GIANT! He was the original Dark Lord and Sauron's former master. The first and mightiest of the Valar (heavenly beings of godly status and power), and was originally named Melkor, only later being given the name 'Morgoth' by the Elvs of whom he stole The Silmarils (legendary stones/crystals of great power, forged by said elvs) away from and placed in this crown.
