FIRST OF ALL, I wouldn't be so quick to minimize Zeta Jones, or her talent. This is a typical, splashy Hollywood headline, strictly to get the attention of morons. The fact is, she is aging, and albeit gracefully, the average age for a sexy leading lady to stay on top is roughly 5 years (there are those who have lasted far longer, but this is the norm). In my opinion, as a professional actor myself, I see her continuing to play leading ladies, just in more mature roles. Don't count her out.

One possibility not offered, probably because it's so inconceivable for people who think that anything worthwhile and important has to involve being a Hollywood hotshot - maybe Catherine doesn't GIVE a shit about "coming back" or "turning it around." The same spirit that lay behind her refusing to be typecast as a particular type of packaged star or leading lady might well be behind a conscious decision to get away from Tinsel Town and actually have a real life and a real marriage. I suspect there's nothing packaged or artificial about the lady, and good for her.

I remember her very well but I won't speak of her as if she were dead, I usually do look forward to anything she is in. I just figured she took time to herself to get whatever she was going through together and decided she would do a movie every then and now or tv series. Besides, she and her husband are rich.
