Additionally the full specs of te 11900K were leaked and it looks like it will only be an 8 core CPU, but is set to take the gaming crown back from AMD. I'm getting the 3080 ti if it launches in january. My 3080 has hit a VRAM limit at 4K in fs2020 :( the game freezes for like 3 or 4 seconds while it moves data thats waiting for vram

The majority of people buying the 3080 ti will be buying it for its increased Vram amount over the 3080 for gaming. While yes it costs a bit more than the 3080, it is still $500 less than the 3090 with 4 GB less Vram.

This card won't be running out of Vram for gaming anytime soon, it's going to age far better than the 3080 just due to its increased Vram alone, 10GB might be good for now at 4k, but I can guess we're pretty close to maxing that out, 12GB would have made more sense for the 3080.

I'm just curious about the 3080 ti power usage vs the 3080.

It's not 8% it's more like 15% for the 3090 VS 3080 with no VRAM issues at 4K. And let me explain something about intel vs AMD intel is FAR more stable VS AMD and has much better bios support and that alone is priceless. Great content BTW keep it up..

And here I was dragging my feet for the last 3 months before I just picked up the i9-10900K... I can somewhat rest assure I’m not missing out on much. Lack of PCI 4.0 support when high speed storage is still costly and premature. I’ll survive for the next 4 years.

I'm happy with my 3950x and 2080Ti OC thanks 😊. I don't need a new CPU or GPU and if one fails for some reason I still have my old fateful 1800 from 2017 and a 2080 Super I wasted my money on 😔... before I upgraded to the 2080Ti I have overclocked 🥰...

The ti class should cost 700 dollars not the normal

The 3080ti has the same TDP as the 3080, while the power limit of the 3090 is not constrained as much. Best believe when you feed a 3080ti more power it will scale well with overclocking.

But there hasn’t been a leak about the amount of the RayTracing Cores right?
