DJI Spark Video Cache Explained

In this video I go over the difference between cached video and original video that is located in the DJI Go 4 App. I also go over the basic steps of transferring media from your DJI Spark to your smartphone or tablet.

Apparently there is no audio on the original but they are recorded on the Cache so it should be possible to copy the audio from the cache and paste it onto the original video

My app on phone doesnt have the option to download the original videos. Also, if your in the cache, and click download original, does it then download the top quality vid from the spark?

for some reason when I took a video and some pictures I took the sd card out and put it in my laptop and only half of the pictures stored on the sd card but if i look in the app i can see the videos and pictures im missing. Also when I try to download the original video or picture it says file not found. Pls help Thanks!!!

Can I get the high res versions of the videos without a SD card? And have them download straight to my phone

If i cleared my video cache is that only cleared or deleted in my tablet but still stored in my microsd card in the drone? I cleared the cache and it all disappeared in my video cache files in my tablet, I hope they are all still stored in the drone.😢

Thanks. This video helped. I was under the impression that the video files on the app are of the same resolution as the original video files. Now that I am enlightened, I would use the video files on the SD card for my future videos. Cheers

Good information. One question, once the photo is downloaded to photos, are there two copies stores on the phone? Or just one image file, which both the DJI App and the IPhone Photos app use? Thanks for the video.

My drone's cache keeps automatically downloading onto my phone, is there a solution for this?
