It was a privilege to have him out at the 2020 Drumeo Festival where he slayed the crowd with a rock solid performance, plenty of heavy grooves, and a monster kit to match. Watch Aquiles play “Zombies” by Noturnall!

There's many things to say about this video:
Aquiles's performance was killing!
The drumset appearance is totally "from hell". Mapex, you've impressed me!
Other compliment to Mapex is about the sound of the drums.
Even knowing it's a compilation between drumheads, hoops and the drums, all of that, plus Aquiles playing became into a very impressive audio experience as well!

Please come to brasil! Im kidding he is from brazil. A full beast. This guy is an example. He started playing around 16 years old and stopped because times were hard, money issues. He had a "regular job" for years. And then he came to metal, where he belongs. And had a huge evolution on his Drumming carrer. No lies, he is a true example of dream pursuitness.

I am not the biggest Aquiles fan. His style is a bit cold and mechanic to me to a certain extend.
But, his power and tightness are amazing.
Ah! And listen to that snare sound: no triggers used. Just the exact sound Metal demands.
