Bravo. How many violists in the world can play this with such perfect intonation, gorgeous sound, beautiful vibrato and so musical? There’s a reason there aren’t any good recordings of this anywhere, or on YouTube…until this one. Gavinies difficulty is underrated. Bravo Jethro

Very fine playing! You did make it "look easy." :) I've been playing these amazing etudes for years on the violin. I always find something new and unique in them. They should be studied and heard much more. Also, nice intonation all around and particularly on the 10's. The stretching on those has to hurt rather a bit on the viola.
