I have a 3D printer that does both and I have yet to try carbon fiber. I'm glad I've watched this video. I have been enlightened note to self wear gloves. Guessing it's the same with the finished product you would think right?

I've worked with real cabon fiber for a long time in the automotive industry, we were told to wear gloves when using it which I did and this is probably no different... that shit gets everywhere

The air… It gets in the air and it hurts to breathe after a cf print.. always use a purifier.

The original video really freaked me out when I watched it Monday night. I have a small room that I use for 3D printing, and it doesn't have great ventilation. I use open printers, and love printing with carbon fiber filaments.
I don't know how to mitigate risk affordably now.

Try Elmer's glue or wood glue on your heads. Let it dry, then pull off

Yeah best to work with a good breathing mask. I am asthmatic and the fumes from ABS give me attacks when I go to close to the printer. The canon fibre is def a concern. 😳

Recently went to metal laser cutting guy, after handling unpainted laser cut parts, checked my hand after washing 2 times looked similar with small metal balls

You do shed your skin. They won't stay in there forever

Won’t you just grow new skin and eventually just shed all the fibers along with the old skin? Looks like a non-problem to me
