Στον απόηχο της επίθεσης σε πετρελαιοφόρο πλοίο Ισραηλινών συμφερόντων, ο υπουργός Άμυνας Benny Gantz, κάλεσε σε έκτακτη στρατιωτική σύσκεψη, με τη συμμετοχή του αρχηγού του γενικού επιτελείου Aviv Kohavi αλλά και άλλων μη κατονομαζόμενων υψηλά βαθμοφόρων του Ισραηλινού στρατού.
