2019 Mathews Traverse and TX-5

Got me wanting to shoot a TX-5 now! Thanks for reviewing it. Not many other reviews out yet for that bow!

I shot the TX5 and that’s the one I like. I’m 28inch and shot it at 71.0 and that thing smokes. I’m in Kansas and it’s cold now and had on a heavy hoodie sweatshirt and it never came close to my wrist with the 5 inch brace height. I love my PSE Omen Pro but looks like it will go as my backup bow. Awesome review.

Just some inside information about the new switch weight cam's. They will fit all Halon series bows. I have them on my Triax. So if you have a halon 6 save money and just purchase the cam's and you have the new Vertix just without the dovetail. I bet I have the first switch weight Triax in the world. For those who don't know now you know.

Speaks pretty good about the Traverse being 1 5/8" longer on BH than the TX5 and only being 7 fps slower. Think I've decided.

Which do you think is the quieter bow. Traverse or Ritual? Or have you shot any quieter than those two?

@HighDesertArcheryLCNM do you still feel the same about the TX-5 being the smoothest shooting bow? I thought the same thing. I also thought the draw cycle was a bit smoother then the vertix and triax as well. What about quietness, did you find any difference between the 3?

You shot a 299 with the tx5 @71 lbs. Do you think the whisker biscuit is slowing it down? Should try a drop away rest

I’ve seen the Triax with the Monster limbs but, would a TX-5 with the Vertix cams be possible as well?

Tx-5 claiming 345? You shot 299 why is that? Did I miss something?

I know people say this all the time, but that Chrono is WAY off. This bow should be shooting near 320 at that set up. Granted, it probably wont hit right now what its rated for, but it wouldnt be 20 fps slower than advertised. Calibrate, add lights, do something. We don't do our companies any justice when we unintentionally post false information. And, I know it isnt your fault and wasnt your intentions.
