Comparison: ASUS Chromebook CM3 vs. Lenovo Duet Chromebook

Is the ASUS Chromebook CM3 CM3000 Detachable better than the Lenovo Duet Chromebook? In this video, I compare both Chrome OS tablets with each other. You'll see their keyboard covers in action, the USI pens, and their performance. I love that the ASUS comes with a stylus but you've got to buy the one for the Lenovo extra.

Their biggest highlights is Chrome OS, of course, as well as the full desktop-class Chrome browser and very long updates.

I think this chromebook by Asus is my favorite out of the rest which have the same kompanio 500 chipset. It is sooo versatile and easy to use.

I'm releasing my Asus CM3 review with a heavy comparison between these two devices. The two processors are the same processor fyi. Mediatek just rebeanded the processor. I caught that at the last second of my review

Other than the USI slot, I don't see much reason to pay more for the ASUS. I've had the Duet for almost a year and its a decent tablet. If I was going to buy a new Chrome tablet I'd get the HP X2 for the magnetic and wireless charging pen but that device is way more expensive.

im surprise with the battery life stated. Most reviews indicate insane battery life for the duet. Could it be the wifi in your area draining battery?

Thanks, very useful! Around 5:50 mark you seem to have XBox One bluetooth controller connected to Lenovo Duet - how did you achieve this? Mine does not work over bluetooth, and there is a lot of posts on reddit saying that it is currently not supported.

I've just recently in the last 4mths got the CM5 unfortunately I was unaware the Ryzen 3 was upgraded to the Ryzen 5 not even 2wks after I bought it . I only have one compaint about it the fan isn't set up in a practical manner which puts it thru quite a bit of movement due to the way it's been anchored, so a month after getting it somebody knocked it just about off my kitchen table and now it makes a horrible chu-chunk-chu-chunk the fan hitting the inner fram e it usually ends up stopping after a bit of time(a guess would be the fan refits into it's intended positional slot but nonetheless I took it apart following stepbystep instructions that were vgiven to me by a computer refitter/reformatter & he said it's probable the 9 screws holding the frame & fan in place became loose then i was told how to tighten them so it doesn't put extra pressure or absence of pressure on one of the 4 corners . well did all that plugged back in turned it on and now it does it less but when its misaligned again (at least once a day for minimum an hour at a stretch but the noise has somehow doubled in volume. Any suggestions? i'm at a loss & because i'm disabled & have only begun walking again after 4years+ in & out of hospital due to spinal viral infection I don't have funds to just throw at a maybe fix it's gotta be certain to work if i'm paying for a fix to this fan issue . i'll understand if your at a loss as well because you wouldn't be the first to have not even an idea i think somewhere around 5 maybe six ppl i know in my condo building & some workers in Vancouvers biggest hospital I.T. maintenance crew were stumped or at least that's what my sister whos a nurse there said the tech guys vhad no suggestiopns once they heard i alredy opened it up and tried a fix with over the phone pro-help anything you could think of would be helpful bthanxc!

They both have the same chipset and RAM/storage configuration, so I might pick the Lenovo because of its small size. I'm still waiting for Chrome OS tablets with Kompanio 820 and 1200 chipset.
