Thank you very much. I need some tries and first did not keep enough attention where i have to insert the code and failed. After a second try and going trough step by step i was able to get it all working.

When i connect my usb Hup to the ipad. I am able to connect Power, a Display over HDMI and the pi over a USB Cable i picked from a Samsung SSD and a USB-C to A adapter. This works for the SSH connection and to power up the pi. I think it will not be working with every adapter. Now i only need a strong enough power supply. At the moment i am using the one of my thinkpad. I think i will buy an used 60w from Apple.

Thanks for the easy instruction. iPad Pro is inexpensive if bought second hand is a high quality monitor for the Raspberry Pi 4. Older Apple devices with lightning work as well, but I ve read that the interned connection does not work over cable, so another WIFI connection is required. I miss a mobile device with a Raspberry Pi zero 2 w which is small and portable, but the only candidate phone which should work is the iPhone 15 which will come out soon, but is a very expensive solution.

Great video, would love to see this on the new Pi 5 and iPad 12 Pro??? I heard its much more simpler with a simple USB-C to USB-C connection, no software config needed?

I've Raspberry pi 3b+ and an Ipad 9.7 2018 that I want to use for the monitor. what changes i need to do to make it work? I want to use the pi as code-server to remotely connect to my desktop and work on my project with vscode. I saw some videos on youtube but nothing works for me.

when I downloaded the Raspberry Pi imager it only asks me to select the device the OS system and the storage there is no settings logo what do i do?

Excellent video, but when I try to connect using VNC I get "The port on which the computer is listening for a connection could not be contacted". I do not have any firewall or restrictions on my LAN. Any ideas?

since i am using the USB C port to connect to the ipad mini, i can't power the pi 5, will the pi run off of the ipad mini battery? for how long? Is there another way to connect so that I can power the pi 5?
