Do I need bed rest after Cervical cerclage or Cervical stitch? - Dr. H S Chandrika

In patients where there is a risk of aborting the baby, we have to use all the methods to prevent the risk of abortion. When they have used the method surgically to prevent the abortion, it is natural for you to use some bed rest. Usually immediately after the procedure we tell to take 3 to 4 days rest.I advise them to take rest. If it is risky case, we rest them for a longer period any physical activity can cause the abortive process to happen.
